Garden Bridge finally gets moving!

You may remember back in June that I blogged about the proposed London Garden Bridge, a lovely new river crossing planned for the Capital. Well now it has got to the consultation phase of planning and we can all have our say in how it progresses.

Now I'm for any plan that increases the profile of British horticulture, and gives us another bit of greenery in our cities, and although I'm based 4-5hrs west of the Capital I will be filling in the survey. We should be proud of our garden heritage and it should be showcased in the most internationally visible spot. So get online and let's make sure it's a gorgeous representation of our horticultural creativity, and not an unimaginative municipal strip. Think New York's Highline, not dual carriageway central reservation!

And if you're stuck for ideas Mr Johnson and co you know where to come!
